Sedalia CVB Launches New Website

305 Spin is pleased to announce “the front door to Sedalia” has been reopened with the launch of the new redesigned website for the Sedalia Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) at www.VisitSedaliaMO.com. The CVB is a non-profit economic development agency responsible for competitively marketing the Sedalia area as a destination for leisure travelers, tour groups, and conventions. The CVB choose 305 Spin to redesign and rebuild the CVB website in December 2010. Over the past three months, 305 Spin has worked extensively with the CVB to help them reach their current online marketing goals.

The new website features up-to-date directory information for nearly 300 places to play, stay, and/or dine in the Sedalia area. Also featured is an easy-to-use community calendar, where local event planners are encouraged to add their upcoming events. In conjunction with the new website, the CVB has also launched a Facebook page, which visitors can “like” right from the new website. The living in Sedalia section offers information about relocating to Sedalia. A mobile-friendly version of the website is available to travelers with smartphones or iPhones. The new website is designed so that those planning a visit to the Sedalia area can access all the information they need quickly and easily.

John Moore, 305 Spin Founder and President, commented that “305 Spin has worked to bring an innovative, integrated website to Sedalia tourism’s efforts. As long-time proponents of Sedalia’s growth and development, including the historic downtown, we were very excited to contribute to this project. Everyone at 305 is excited about the potential of this new website. We hope the new website is one that Sedalia will be proud of and will allow the CVB to have the best tools available to market Sedalia online.”

“Choosing a web developer to rebuild the CVB website wasn’t easy, but we have been very happy with our decision to trust our web development needs to 305 Spin,” notes Carolyn Crooker, CVB Marketing Director. “Today, travel and tourism branding and marketing are driven by the internet, and our website is literally the ‘front door’ by which Sedalia will welcome guests. 305 Spin has done an amazing job taking this website from conception to a fully-functional website.”
